Kindness Rocks

Point #5 has been realized. Joy has definitely been spread! ☺️🩷

I came across this special rock garden on my walk, and I was so touched by it that I went home and learned about it. The Kindness Rocks Project is an international movement where people paint inspirational messages or colorful designs on small rocks and leave them in public spaces for strangers to find. You can keep a rock if it is very meaningful to you, share it on social media, or leave it somewhere else for another person to find.

Their mission is “One message at just the right moment can change someone’s entire day, outlook, or life.”

I’d say mission accomplished!🩷

Coming across this rock garden was meaningful to me – I’ve saved motivational sayings, prayers, poems, etc. my whole life, and I also have a little collection of objects to hold in my hand when I get nervous writing (which is always, haha). My two favorites are a smooth stone shaped like a heart that my daughter gave me and a worry stone made of Connemara marble from a friend in Ireland.
